made to fossil
by the passing years,
jutting from the half-thawed ice
only to be cold again
come winter.

Henry Giovannetti is currently an instructor at Kansas State university with no publications, although I have presented a critical essay at the University of Kansas—”All lights on Mr. West: A Study of Spectacle in Hip Hop Culture.” His interest in poetry stems from his passion for South American writers, and from his love of the city.
