I fill an empty bag with all my
worries and drift into the woods.
The heaviest weight I intend to lose
is the voice of all those shoulds.
worries and drift into the woods.
The heaviest weight I intend to lose
is the voice of all those shoulds.
I find a hole carved in a tree
and leave my worries there.
I drop my angst on top of them
and offer up a prayer.
I rise unburdened, free at last
bow in reverence and surprise.
For I find hiding in the letting go
is where all the beauty lies.
