the fabric of this world
and be face to face
with the raw of it.

I want to see the sky azul
In my sister’s eyes.

I want to see the explosion
of stars within our minds.

I want to see the rivers
that crisscross into our conversation.

There are worlds that lay
beneath our fingernails.
