The Morrison County Dairy Princesses
will be there August 15
in Pierz Park   Little Falls
for the 24^th annual FARM PICNIC

They will have hearty appetites
for ham           potato salad
beans   corn     milk
they themselves serve
then give shallow waves
as teenage princesses do         to the Holstein
Association president             who will
wink back       as he presides over
the sated crowd           speaking on
“Main Street or Wall Street?”
Even the princesses
are dedicated to local control

Look for discount tickets
at supporting businesses displaying
the Minnesota Farmers Union poster
not featuring charming princesses
of creamy skin and buttery cheeks
but guaranteeing they’ll shoot the breeze
at the Social Hour preceding dinner
