Afterbloom – Lawdenmarc Decamora

Under a tree shade,
             I sat
observing the lines leafed
limning the page, their green
fix crashing into the shoe-
dappled patch
of sun and earth. Until
             a leaf
                           to the votive call
of six o’ clock, no more
footballing and frisbeeing
in sight; it’s unaccidentally
“Le Manteau de Pascal”, but
Jorie Graham.
